This man was one of the most knowledgeable, clever, humble medical professionals I have ever dealt with. Sadly, I believe he's retired. He was able to nail my problems more than once. What a pity I lived so far from him, or I would have had him onboard permanently. I was astonished at his level of insight and expertise. He's the epitome of "first do no harm", and then from there, he actually knows his stuff and makes a positive difference with an insight that I've rarely seen from any medical professional that I've had dealings with.

I'm not surprized that only three New Zealand MPs showed up to parliament, though "their office doors were mere feet away," to Paul's talk there. Not after the way I see the rows of empty chairs when Australian MPs who challenge the establishment's narrative giving heroic talks on other subjects where big pharma has already greased the pockets of most of government.

The only gripe I have with this, is, it does help fight caries. However, eating unprocessed healthy diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables and protein, along with simple routine hygiene are even greater at preventing cavities. In the end, it all comes down to our government. They’ve poisoned and processed our foods, promoted unhealthy foods and diet, caused an obesity epidemic, and an explosion of dieseases. They give us medications which further damage our bodies, then gaslight us if we question anything.

About 50% of New Zealand's population does not receive toxic fluoridated tap water, like Scotland, and 98% of Europe, and 95% of the world. So shouldn't the NZ Health Dept be trialling an educational alternative scheme for those no getting fluoridated tap water? A few very good alternative schemes listed here. fluoridefreeaustralia.org/alternatives-to-fluoride/ The same should apply for all non-fluoridated areas of Australia, and eventually, sooner or later, forced fluoridation will be shut down because of health affects, lack of consent and lack of free and fair choice.

It is extremely disappointing to see such incredibly biased journalism from Jack who entered this interview with his own unbalanced, uniformed opinion and agenda. To make matters worse he constantly interrupted Professor Connett, hardly gave him a chance to speak and was aggressive and arrogant. Jack this is one of the most unprofessional interviews I have ever seen. Apart from that, anyone, even a former health minister has the right to disagree, but to make such blatantly false statements like "all the evidence is in favor of fluoridation" goes way beyond ignorance it is downright deception. There is SO MUCH science against fluoridation and stating that fluoridation is safe and effective a thousand times will never make it so.

I am dumbfounded why Prof Paul Connett didn't point out that calcium fluoride (found in nature) is fundamentally different from hydrofluoricilic acid (which is Industrial waste from the phosphate fertilizer and aluminium industries). Fluoricilic acid is a Schedule 7 poison (which means it has high to extremely high toxicity, and can cause death at low exposure), unlike naturally occurring fluoride found in nature. It is a neurotoxin which has been shown in Chinese and Harvard studies to lower IQ. It is also highly corrosive and can eat through concrete, meaning it is very expensive to dispose of. That's why those Industries sponsored bogus 'studies' into the supposed benefits of hydrofluoricilic acid to dental health and pushed it heavily on Governments. We've all be sold a lie.
